Do you know in your heart that you can be the best kicker on the team? Are you willing to do the class and field work to prove it? If so, go for it.

Ahh you bet I do! I am so willing to do the class and field work to prove it, I will perform the best I can Im not looking to get into the NFL I just want an education and the opportunity to perform at the highest level of BCS football.

You may need to do P90x to start, but after you get in decent shape go with a legit weight program. Being a walk on is harder than most think and there is a lot that goes into it. Good luck.

P90X is no different than any other "bootcamp" training except that you are using DVD's instead of a live trainer.  You better stick with the daily program or you will waste your time & money.  If you really have the discipline and knowledge of the different types of exercise, then you do not need a trainer - DVD or live person.

Just do it.

Go for it.  Just don't give out your real life name or this forum will melt down against you if you miss.

Im only 2 semesters away from getting my AS at PHCC and Im debating on getting in shape and trying out for the team as a Kicker. I was on my HS team and nailed consistent 40 yarders at practice senior year but since I blew off senior year, my grades were not good enough to actually play.

What do you guys think? Yes or No or I dont care do whatever?

No way!! .... Don't need you screwing up our APR.
