That is bad news.

Patrick Hampton is listed as the top backup, but Im sure Giddens is gonna be in there

This really  bites. I guess we are REALLY looking for a big JUCO transfer now.

USF senior DE Craig Marshall will have surgery Tuesday to insert pin in broken right foot. Coaches hopeful he can play again this season

Marshall is a senior... This doesn't not make a single difference in who we recruit. It's not like a JuCO guy can play right now.

But yeah that *****

Yeah, I thought about that after I posted, but I still hope we get that Big JUCO transfer

We saw him go into the locker room in the second half and come out about 10 minutes later with a boot on.  I was hoping it wouldn't be too bad.  Hope he has a quick recovery.

All the more reason for the team to suck it up and get to a bowl game - more time for him to to recover, practice, play, and impress the NFL scouts.

Hopefully he can have a speedy full recovery so he can still get out there and help out our young guys and also showcase his talents for NFL scouts.

http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bulls/content/usf-end-marshall-sidelined-foot-injury - By Greg Auman

"the Bulls confirmed that Marshall will undergo surgery Tuesday to insert a pin into his broken right foot, though coaches remained confident that Marshall would have a chance to recover in time to play again before the regular season ends at Connecticut on Dec. 4."

Highly doubt we will see him play again this season.  If that is the case, is it possible to carry over any eligibility to next season?  This is of course assuming he wants to put off the NFL.

there's already a thread on this - like 4 lines down the page...

After Greg's article came out on his website, I posted the link in a new post not realizing it was already posted...my bad.
