I was running some numbers after the Syracuse game just to see how USF has fared over the first 5 years plus one game.  Here is what I found out:

Total Games -  36

USF's record is 17-19

Home Record is 11-7

Away Record is 6-12    (3 of those road victories were against woeful Syracuse)

USF vs......

Syracuse  5-1

UConn      2-3

Louisville    3-2

Pitt          2-3

WVU        3-2

RU            1-4

Cincinnati    1-4

BJ Daniels record as starter is 3-5 vs Big East opponents

Matt Grothe record as starter is 10-11 vs Big East opponents

Pat Julmiste record as starter is 4-3 vs Big East opponents

I can't believe that last stat about Pat Julmiste.....I take back all of the bad things I ever said about him.

We had a good running game with Julmiste and our younger players got a ton of playing experience the year before we went into the Big East.

We were also 4-1 in the first 5 Big East games that year as well.

The power of a dominant RB.

Not going to happen.  If he even has a sniff of success, his butt will be bolting to a name brand program that as the rednecks would say has "Trahdishun". That is what happens in CFB these days.

He had the chance to go to bigger programs that us and he didn't. His family resides around this area and that is a big thing for him.

You will have to wait until next year or the year after.  We have a ways to go.  Planchard is not a D1 running back.

Miurray is better but he has injury issues.

We have not built a team that can compete against all the teams of the Big East.

Why is that funny?  Murray has missed most or all of the last three games with an ankle injury.
