here is more copy about the possibility of him coming home.

And playing time will likely play a major part in his decision. Asked if he would consider transferring closer to home -- particularly coming to USF or UF(another SEC school) -- he left the possibility open.

"If my situation fits into their plans and they will use me, then they are definitely going to be a consideration," Giles said by text.

He has a 2 month old son here in Tampa so he could get a hardship waiver to come here maybe.  But I spoke to him at length tonight and USF is not his main focus at all right now.  I don't want to get into it as it is his person business to share but there are specific schools he is looking at and USF in not one of them at this point, he is well aware of our running back situation.  His father is a smart guy and knows the deal this is not his first rodeo his older brother Devin signed with Auburn did not make it there went to Coffeyville CC, then went to Wash St.  But I am trying to get him  to go to the game on Sat night while he is in town ;) .

Can't blame him for not looking here with Darrell Scott and Aycock coming into the picture next year along with Murray, Battles and Shaw already in the mix.

Hopefully, USF will be getting these caliber kids on a much more frequent basis when they're done with high school rather than as transfers. Stay and build the State of Tampa Bay (or Tamplona). Had to throw an E.T. reference in there.

Ugh, I could understand not here, but why another Big East school?

If he's worried about the log jam, I don't want him. Obviously doesn't think he would be the best RB here either. Just my opinion.

He really likes Coach Strong they formed a bond from when UF was looking at him.

He never gave USF a thought for the fact that he did not want to come back to Tampa.  He is enjoying being away from home and the college experience.  He is a good kid and I wish him the best.
