UCF fans only hated Leavitt because he didn't want to play them and took shots at their stadium after our 2008 game.

Believe this - if Leavitt came to them and won them some BCS games and/or bowl games, they would annoit him their Messiah.

UCF fans only hated Leavitt because he didn't want to play them and took shots at their stadium after our 2008 game.

They hated Leavitt because he took our program and passed theirs by ....

After the way the Kansas State game played out, the GOL supporters are getting smaller by the day, only the small amount of extreme homers still support him

I think he should be annointed UCF coach for life, and even a couple of years after death.  (The play calling should be similar)  ;D

At least he was smart enough to go with Godfrey .... Didn't see the game but should have been considered **** lucky to have been in the game up to the end with a true freshman qb, against a 3-0 BCS team in their house... Should pay dividends with Godfrey down the road, if he is the real deal.

I think O'Leary should be annointed UCF coach for life, and even a couple of years after death.

His contract runs through to 2015, which is probably pretty close to that.

Jesus.  Jim Leavitt didn't single-handedly do that.  We were selected by the Big East due to numerous factors, like being in a good TV market, a big undergraduate population, et al.  If he was so wonderful, he would still have a job right now.

That being said, I think he'd be a good fit for UCF.  He'll take them to bowl games, but for our own interests, he will fall apart in C-USA play and never win a conference title.  So I'm all for it  :D

Jesus is right ... Of course, he didn't single-handedly do it. If I had thought someone was clueless enough to take that literally, I would have clarified it from the beginning. He was the face of the program during the time we made our moves. He was the coach who beat ... oops, he was the one who coached the players who beat them 4 times.
