We get the ball back with 1:22 left in the half and still try to put points on the board. Anyone else notice this? CJL would have just ran the ball 3 times and took it to the locker room with the lead and getting the ball back after half but, Skippy wanted to put some more points on the board! I love it! Never take your foot off the gas!

Oh, and we still had a timeout left at that point too!

Didn't we start that possession in their end of the field?

It was around mid feild I believe but, that's not the point. The point is that Skippy through the ball on them still to put more points on the board before half. I believe that Skip knows it's very important to blow out the teams that we're supposed to in order to get the recognition.

Yes, it surely is the point. Field position would entirely dictate how the last minute was played.

Yes, it surely is the point. Field position would entirely dictate how the last minute was played.

Thanks for letting me know what the point was to my OWN post Flip!  No! the point was Skip wanted more points on the board and didn't play it safe. It was a 20+ yard pass into the endzone with just like 11sec left on the clock when we were already up a couple TD's. That WAS the point.

Orlando Bull please don't compare the chance to run it up on UCiF to putting more points on the board against SB. CJL hated UCiF and he didn't make any bones about that.
