Yeah...I didn't start drinking until I was thirteen.

Two friends of mine in the first half hour we were there.  Two undercover cops (one carrying a bubba keg) walked right up them and took them away even though one of my friends had set his beer dow 10 minutes before the cops even showed up.  Both received written arrests and were told to leave the stadium before the game started or they'd be arrested for trespassingl

I agree.  We have too much focus on it in teh US, which is why so much binge drinking goes on.  We should be a little more like Europe and demystify drinking so it is not such a big deal. In general, they have less abuse there.

I say we lower it to 19.  100's of colleges have spoken out in favor of that.  If one gets caught, as long as they are not driving, it should be a minor misdemeanor/ticket, and not an arrest.

But don't blame the cops.  They only enforce the laws, not write the laws.  If you are pissed about the laws, work with your politicians or vote new ones into office.  We need cops and they do us a great service.  If not, it would be anarchy.  It is a low paid, thankless job.

And yes, Officer Haines is a good guy.  As are many of the USF grads who are cops.
