By original for this one, USF had a contest to design a gameday shirt, and this was the winner. It was re-done by more professional graphics people after it was announced the winner. But for which was the first shirt out, the bookstore got those "History Will Be Made This Day" shirts in 07 when I worked there.

TAMPA -- After compiling all the votes from Facebook, Twitter and GoUSFBulls.com, the USF fan base has spoken and proclaimed a winner of the first ever “Beat Florida†T-shirt Design Contest.  

Based on the online voting, the “Stomp The Chomp, Drain The Swamp†design won with 28 percent of the TwtPoll votes and 25 percent of the Facebook votes. The winning shirt was submitted by Saria Finkelstein.

The first and second runners-up, Think U are Un-Beat-A-Bull? and Can U Feel It? A New Beast has Arrived., will receive a USF Athletics gift pack.

The USF Marketing staff and BullsHeaven will work together to enhance the winning design and slogan, which will be printed on the official USF vs. Florida student t-shirt to be worn by all students attending the game in Gainesville on September 11, 2010.  They will also receive a copy of their design autographed by Coach Skip Holtz and two student tickets to the USF vs. UF football game.  

USF Athletics would like to thank all the students who submitted designs and participated in the voting process.

So, Bulls Heaven, the official USF sponsor made the winner.

Bulls outfitter ended up making the runner up.

If I remember correctly, the original USF bookstore Florida gameday shirt had "Reckoning Day 9. 11. 10" on the back.

USF, UF, & CLC all had to approve it, because it's IN reference to football.

and yeah, "the swamp" is a copyrighted term in reference to football for UF.

Why can't we have something like these?  Nice and simple... nothing but our schools colors and maybe our "U".  I would buy one in a heartbeat, even at the overpriced bookstore cost.

Yeah, the positioning of the Bull on top of the gata is more like a "who's your daddy" or "violated" then a "stomp the chomp" ....just saying......it may be appropriate though by the end of the game.
