The Stomp the Chomp shirt has FINALLY been settled. (took FOREVER for U of Florida to approve the shirt).

Shirts will arrive Friday Sept 3rd (i know, super late). And will ship out the same day if you order them now.

I usually like gameday shirts, but that is one ugly ass shirt.

Why did UF have to approve it.  It doesn't use their logos, or even mention UF or the Gators. 

Do they have a trademark on the "swamp" or something?

I agree with you on this. 

At least it isn't too much of an "in your face" shirt, I really hate those.  But still would hate to have it, then we lose, adn I'd use it when I mow the lawn or something.

Curious why U of Florida would even need to approve that shirt?  I am obviously not a lawyer, but nothing infringing there it would seem.  The gator is obviously not any of U of F's copyrighted images, and fair use might even protect its use in those cases.

It's not nearly as ridiculously silly as the original, but it still isn't exactly my cup of tea.  If anyone knows here I can find a simple "Beat Florida" shirt please let me know.

Which one is the original?

The USF bookstore put out a game day shirt for the UF game a few years ago. That's the one I think of as the original.

I bought a different game day shirt yesterday which says on thefront, "THINK  ~U~ ARE  UNBEAT-A-BULL? "

On the back it says, "Stampede the Swamp Sept.  :gobulls 2011 and shows the two different helmets facing each other.

I know there is a shirt set to be made immediately if we win, so I guess more people will buy that one.
