Jim Cramer is a huge Eagles fan.  Do you think that has anything to do with it??  Besides, if you don't think JPP has some question marks and that he will need to prove his worth, than some might question your football knowledge too.

The guy doesnt even know anything about money. I doubt he knows anything about JPP or football either

Cramer lived in Tallahassee for a bit.....I'm sure he watched football when he was there.

If that gets you riled up you best not listen to the Bill Simmons podcast from last week where by his guest said that the numbers say that JPP is pretty much the worst DE in the draft and is projected to have something like 10 sacks in his first 5 years, also said that its very rare for players that go to 1 JUCO let alone 2 before having a short D1 career and only having 6.5 sacks to have success in the NFL.

For now his lack of playing time is going to have alot of ppl saying similar stuff, and it will get a lot of press cause he is in the NY market, until it is proven one way or another on the field. So for now best get used to it.

I bet the guest was basing his projections on the Football Outsiders project, SackSeer, link HERE .

SackSeer uses statistics from a defensive player's college results to predict their productivity on the professional level. It utilizes quantitative, formulaic methodology that I do not pretend to fully understand. By the Football Outsiders' own review, the tool has been fairly successful in accurately predicting defensive projections during past drafts.

If you reference the provided link, you will see that the SackSeer does not predict high sack production in JPP's future. As I have been reading about the draft, I have seen this tool and its predictions quoted routinely. And the numbers in the above quote are about the same as what the SackSeer predicts for Pierre-Paul.

Take it for what it's worth...

I am editing this post to clarify that SackSeer uses results from a players combine performance, mainly, to predict future production.  My bad.

I love JPP, but he did very little in a Bulls uni. I believe 2 good games. The jury is still out on him.

Yeah, Jim Cramer. This is the IDIOT that told everyone in his minisicule audience near the end of 2008 to "take all of your savings buy all the stock you can!!!

Yeah this is the same idiot that is now selling his program that you can get the trades that he does instantlly for a fee. He even says his portfolio is up over 30% from last year. Even a monkey's portfolio is up better than that!

The only other bigger ego unethical bastard out there is the Donald Trump, selling his pyramid scheme now on the radio. What a peice of crap these guys are!

So I suppose he feels differently about the 3 year starter the Eagles got in Nate Allen?

You are talking about an "expert" that got punked by John Stewart. His word in finance (and football) mean violation.

If this guys opinion on football irritates you just watch this clip:

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
