However at the sundome they do. Iis that common practice at most campuses? I'm not against it I just wonder why the difference between football and basketball? It seems to be one reason why many people don't wnat an OCS. (Oh crap! now I've started it)

There's obviously some exceptions though.Bowl games usually do sell, helps revenue.

In fact, I believe most or all of the Big Ten does not all the sale of alcohol.

As far as I know the ACC and SEC do not allow alcohol at sporting events. The Big East does.
UllStayForever Posted February 2, 2010 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 236 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 06/18/2007 Share Posted February 2, 2010 A USA TODAY survey of the 119 schools in the NCAA's major football-playing Division I-A found that nearly half (54) allow the sale of alcohol — through public concessions, in private suites or both — at one or more playing venues. Eighty-five of those schools have designated tailgating areas, and barely one in 10 keeps those zones alcohol-free. luv2tri Posted February 2, 2010 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 54 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 10/17/2007 Share Posted February 2, 2010 My reasons for not wanting a OCS have nothing to do with beer. Why have a OCS when we have a NFL stadium that only cost us 1 million to rent (I believe). If we (the alumni) raised 25 million, we would have a high school stadium. The day the admin decides to build a OCS is the day I drop my 8 season tickets and green level donation, along with my donations to the alumni asso.
