He has good size. Have you ever seen defense in the Pac-10?!? Do I have to remind you about OUR game with them? There defense did MUCH better than our defense. I won't even mention their offense. He is just big but very coordinated. I met Shaq at an All Star party in DC, My girlfriend at the time was 4-10. I have the greatest pics of them, posing. Gumby's going to be amazing. Mark my words. Mark my words.Your gal was 4-10? I'm guessing Shaq was nuts over her (sorry, couldn't resist!).Gunsby does look fairly fluid. Being a basketball players is a good sign...usually means decent, at least, body control. And Gunsby wants to compete with BJ. Love the confidence...might be best if he redshirt, rather than push BJ for 3 years, then start (see Jarrett Brown).

He has good size.If we have a schollie available which we aren't going to use on a better player at a position of equal need then I'm for sign him up. He did come into his own a little bit. His schollie offers though are because of his dad. I'd take him if we could get him because of the reasons cmhatter mentioned. Teams do this all the time, and USF is not alone having given out scholarships for reasons other than a kid's pure ability. He's athletic enough that he could eventually develop into an ok platooning safety, but never a starter, but to have his daddy around the athletic department, at games, talking to the team...at the team banquet when recruits are there. Priceless, Priceless!
