He is on his way home but I guess he named USF specifically.

I don't know if i really want the FSU reject.

you do.

Dungy supporting USF... probably donating...

having that guy around would be a good thing.

I agree with the mad Hatter, go figure, And Dungy did get a GS offer from FSU.

Dungy's a 1 star.  I saw him play v Manatee (Ace & Wilder were the stars, clearly).  Given the limited number of schollies available, is it possible Dungy will be welcomed as a walk on (I suspect he can swing the tuition, so that's not an issue).

Having the Dungy's as part of the program would be great...but I don't know if we could justify it on talent, with the limited schollies this year.

BTW, does ANYONE have an update on Plancher's request for another year?

it only makes sense...

he can be built into a player too hes not necessarily a slouch...

combine that with his dad hanging around USF.... cant go wrong.

I like Plancher's work ethic, but he's nothing special on the field. Mike Ford needs to get the bulk even if Plancher does get his other year.

I doubt he would walk on at USF, when he has offers from schools such as Oregon and Louisville, and a chance to play at FSU in one year.

I think Dungy really started to come into his own as a football player this year.

If he's good enough for a scholarship to Oregon, he can't be too shabby. He has good size.

If we have a schollie available which we aren't going to use on a better player at a position of equal need then I'm for sign him up.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
