This is getting bad.

Holtz just called me and told me my scholarship offer had been pulled as well, said there were enough 30-something journalists on the team already. My editor told him he and his coaching staff wouldn't be welcome at our afternoon news meetings anymore and the relationship between the two had been strained.

Leavitt should never have offered him a spot. They had 6 RB's with 2 more recruited. What do you want, a whole team of RB's, this is clearly Leavitt's bonehead move.

Maybe it was Frank's bonehead move. Afterall, he's both the recruiting coordinator and RB coach.

Well Holtz just had an assistant call me to tell me my dog couoldn't **** on his lawn anymore. I said Coach Leavitt let my dog sh** on his lawn and he said that he had  just run out of lawn and it would have to stop.

No, it was Leavitt's fault. He was the HC. I can look at our roster and see we have too many RB's for crying out loud. Leavitt should have put his foot down and told Franks no more RB's in this class. Bellamy doesn't really bring anything to the table different then our other backs.

Holtz is cleaning up the recruiting mess that has us thin on WR, DB, DT, QB, and LB. But man we've got like 10 RB's on the roster and guess who was the recruiting cord.??? The RB coach. But yet our QB has been the leading rusher for the past 3-4 years.

Holtz is having to clean up the roster mess that the former coaches left him.

Well, I am sad about this because it does not send a good message about USF but our new coach has to do what he needs to do.

1/29/2010 is the most credibility USF football has gained in a single day since we beat Auburn.

I think Holtz is sending the message that he wants to win.  He's doing what he thinks is best for USF.  Sorry, if some feelings got hurt, but if you don't want to be here, then we'll move on.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
