The guy is young and if he is successful over the next few seasons he will want a chance to win a NC which is something that can't be accomplished coaching at USF.

How many seconds were we from Cincinnati playing for the NC, what was that, one second? And that's Cincinnati.

You did see what the best team in the BE Cincinnati had happen to them in a BCS bowl?

You see how the Bearcats went into that game with both of their arms chopped off? Kelly was gone, their interim coach had one foot out the door, the game plan was probably a complete mess, the players were all pissed, the other team had more talent and motivation with the whole Urban Meyer thing... there was no way Cincy was winning that game.

Well Florida came into that game very disappointed by losing to Bama and missing a chance to play for another NC in Tebow's final season. Take time to think about the history of schools playing in bowls that they didn't want to after a late season disappointment. In the past those teams struggle and had flat performances against teams they would normally beat.

Those other teams didn't have the "greatest player in the history of college football" playing his last collegiate game and possibly seeing the most productive coach in their history's last game on the sideline .... Florida was not losing that game.

Nawww Florida wasn't losing that game to such an inferior opponent. The Gators played a lot harder in the SECT game with much more on the line.

I think he's honest about "family" was a big reason in coming here.

Now will he build up a love for our program ?

He can continue to build something special here and really put his stamp on it.

Timing will have lots to do with it. I think the longer he's here, more likely he'll stay.

Our fans need to continue to build strong support.

Go BULLS !!!

Family played a role, but let's be honest.

BCS school in Florida willing to pay almost 2 mil a year for your services?

Tough to say no to.

Everyone saying he sounds committed forever based on one statement, slow your roll. No coach is ever committed to one program forever these days. It's tough. Likewise he's NO ass like Lane Kiffin and will be here long enough to win a BE championship.

That reminds me, someone was asking about his kids. From this link, he has 3

Skip and his wife, Jennifer, are the parents of three children: Louis Leo (Trey) Holtz III (15); Chad Fitzgerald Holtz (12); and Hailey Elizabeth Holtz (10).

Not sure I'd go that far. We still have that "rich donor" problem. As in, there aren't that many of them willing to pay.

IDK, maybe a BE championship will open the purses and start the money rolling in, but we're a loooooong way from the traditional powers in terms of $$
