I'm not saying Terry Bowden would be the right coach here but I doubt that we  " won't give him the time of the day" if he was interested

I would be happy with Terry, I love his personality. Remember when he was doing the broadcaster gig, he seemed to have a lot of passion for college football. The Bowden name will deff not hurt when it comes time to hit the recruiting trail either.

Theres a reason hes coaching  1AA and he hasn't been considered for any open positions the past few years

You are giving him to much credit. He coaches a D-2 team...

Not happy about that if it's true.  I think Bowden should at least be interviewed.
