Cell Phones in Toronto

I've got a Sprint Blackberry... anyone with any idea about SIM cards or rate plans?  What's the best way to have service up there in the country with their beady little eyes and heads so full of lies?

I think that would only work if he has a GSM phone, I don't think CDMA uses SIM cards.  Is Canada on GSM like the rest of the world?  Sprint is not GSM.

I didn't need to do anything to my sprint phone, roaming works fine in canada

it's expensive, though, so I used it sparingly

get verizon.  works in toronto and quebec

verizon works fine but its .69 a minute for phone and .29 pr text
