Either way, I am not going to leave the Country for a bowl game.

So if the bowl game was in Buffalo you would go?? what is another 2 hours? What if they moved the Fiesta Bowl to Canada and we got an invite?? What does it being in Canada have to do with it?

Maybe a poor choice of words...if we had a game vs a MAC team in the southeast, I would go. Against a BCS opponent in Canada, I would probably go. The point of my post was that, in order to watch some good football, I would consider going to the Sugar Bowl instead of the International Bowl. I most likely will do neither, but will likely buy tix to help out my University, aye.

You know, as I was thinking through this, I actually decided that if I am going to spend the money for a bowl, I might make the trip to New Orleans to pull for Cincy. Maybe that is wrong, but as a Bulls fan, we need to support the BE. Cincy probably won't sell all of their tix, and I think they will beat the Cryin' Tebows. Could be a lot of fun.

Either way, I am not going to leave the Country for a bowl game. Probably buying tix and donating to the students and watching it all unfold from home.

i have considered this as well, the gf is UF alum.

but im having a hard time deciding if i want to pay $140 a piece for nose bleed seats against two teams i dont like.  also, BK might be a lame duck, and cincy winning is probably a stretch.  i can dream though

You could fly to Buffalo NON-stop on Southwest and rent a car to drive to Toronto.

This could save you 100-200 dollars.

http://www.southwest.com/flight/price-flight.html?companyName=&cid=&memberName=&disc=0%3A8%3A1260169371.318000%3A1849%40F9901E80A4C4CEF09251BB48B4129AF19CB89BD3&ss=0&dest=

The cheaper flights are going fast...but this is an option.(hint: SWA doesn't charge for bags.)

RENT a car, OR you could take the bus for cheap into the Toronto-metro area and use public transport while there..which is great!

Hope this gets some minds thinking...if not, oh well.  Just trying to help out...

GO BULLS!!!

what was the deal you had when I cliked on it the page said it had time out what dates how much was it?

The team needs everyones support! Its not what any of us wanted and from what I heard they accepted the bid last week before we even got on the plane to UCONN. Never the less I will be going to Toronto and have a blast. Talked with one of the Bowl representatives this morning. He had told me that two years ago it was 60 degrees and nice. Last year was cold but you never know.  Like someone posted Niagra Falls is close and Toronta has an great night life!

So lets go BULLS and STAMPEDE across the BORDER!!!

Passports also aren't that easy to get in such short notice.

I have to admit that having to buy a passport for the wife and kids does suck.  It really does raise the cost of this.

If you are going to drive into canada you can get a passport card instead of passport is cheaper and you can use it for cruises to caribbean but not for international flyying. Is a cheaper option.

here is the link

If you apply now it takes about two weeks

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
