Just not sure about this one, I will probably buy a couple of tix and donate them to USF students. Don't think I can make this one, rumors of buyout at my company, so I should probably not spend that money. Way less than I expected though... Compared to places like Cleveland or Buffalo, Toronto is very mild this time of year.
Guest
Cheapest way to go is to drive... one car with four people would be about 120-150 per person for transportation and meals on the way up and back... The cost of staying in Toronto would be the same no matter how you get there...Make sure you have 4 wheel drive to get through the snow. It's really not that bad... I've driven from Florida to Western New York a number of times... they know how to plow up there.I have drivem through West Virginia and up -I79 to Buffalo and the roads were awful. I grew up in Pittsburgh and still have family there and they agree that it would be an awful drive. The last time I was there in March, I-79 was bad. So driving woulldn't be an option for us. This is why I take I-95 to Baltimore and cut through central Pennsylvania... I've driven up at Christmas time several times and never had a problem. Not sure why anyone would call it an "awful" drive.

We have places to stay in Atlanta and Pittsburgh, and there are multiple $50 per night Howard Johnsons in Toronto. There are ways to get there you just have to get creative. Hell, Toronto is south of Detroit latitude-wise.
