We won't a problem winning in 2010? Have you seen the schedule? The road games will be very tough and we're good for a loss or 2 at home. We'll have a tough time being bowl eligible in 2010.

we should have no problem starting out 5-0

A trip to Gainesville in week 2 says otherwise.

Those corners in the lower bowl were not filled...

Those would be students seats. If you took all the people standing around the ship, then those seats would have been more than filled.

2010: @UF, @Miami, @Cincy, @WVU, @Louisville.

Considering we've never won at cincy or louisville, 1-4 out of that is possible andwinless is not out of the realm of possibility.

You look at that and wonder why people complain about our schedule strength.  Every team packs in a couple of easy wins.  Didnt' UF just whoop up on FIU?  Think they had another easy game early in the year.

They did the same for next year.  That's why they scheduled USF in the 2nd week, a tune-up for the SEC schedule.  Get some of the 2nd & 3rd string players some PT.  That game will make the Rutgers trip seem like a win.  :'(

I understand that everybody does it but I hate these guaranteed games. It's terrible for the fans.

I'd rather play quality competition and lose than to pay to see us whoop stoney brook, WKU and FIU where the outcome is decided before the coals burn out. I'd rather 6 home and 6 away games with 1 cupcake then 7 home games with 3 cupcakes.

NCAA should take away the rule allowing oa 1-AA win for bowl eligibility.  The big boys (UF, Ohio State, Oklahoma, etc) would still get the money games against the MAC or Sun Belt, but it would force the mid level teams to agree to 1-1 deals with each other more often than otherwise.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
