Statement by Joel Glazer, Co-Chairman, Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

“The report today by WDAE’s Dan Sileo about our family and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is 100 percent false.

"The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are not, nor have they ever been for sale. In addition, our family or any of our related companies have never invested one penny with Bernie Madoff.

"The report is baseless, irresponsible and slanderous. This type of behavior by Mr. Sileo and his company Clear Channel will be dealt with in the appropriate manner.â€

Someone must come on here and defend Sileo, just like another media member that was defended after providing false information.  Sileo has to have someone in his corner.  I'm not for the Glazers (obviously) but I am for responsible "journalism?" is that right in this case?  Responsible talk...I guess.

I'm sure this isn't the case, but I believe there were alot of people the didn't necessarily invest with madoff, but the people that they invested with did.....just a thought

How about focusing on putting the franchise back together that you just dismantled.  PLEASE sell the team. Our lease would be part of the package right ? What a sweet heart of a deal.

If the Bucs moved, maybe we could have our logo on the field for every home game!

How many helicopters would it take to lift that stadium up and move it over to the USF campus?  ;D
