They talked about Coach Leavitt not approving of the sign and what they thought about it. Dan LeBatard said it was fine and smart for Leavitt to downplay it since coaches always need to short sell their guys to keep them fired up (that's me paraphrasing - don't remember exactly what he said but it was similar). He stated we were better than both Miami and FSU last year and now beat FSU this year so their most definitely is 4 big programs in Florida. Dan Lebatard is filling in for Michael Wilbon and is on the staff at the Miami Herald.

Kornheiser agreed and said it was smart marketing. He went so far as to suggest it was Leavitt and the schools idea to put it up and then have him chastise the billboard publicly to get more media attention. Then after LeBetard said his part about us belonging, Tony stated he didn't know the difference between South Florida, Central Florida and North Florida.

I really don't like Kornheiser anymore, and not because of what he did or did not say on PTI this afternoon. I didn't even catch the show. But honestly, what does he add to any discussion? I really don't think he knows much about any sports. He's all about personalities and stories and feelings. He's a joke, and he was terrible on MNF, regardless of whether he quit or got canned. Gruden is a definite upgrade.
