Hampton Inn by the airport $80 plus a 20 min drive but better then $140+ downtown. 2 years ago we stayed at the Hilton Pitt for $99! So close we walked to the game - now that was nice

I have been to about 8-10 Pitt games and they have all been noon kickoffs- even if they are on national TV.  Hotels are slim pickings because the Steelers are at home that weekend. Penguins are home on Fri/Sat too.  Got Bulls and Steeler tix.  Just working on the Penguins.  ;D

We are going.  I tried for a week to find a hotel near the airport or downtown but no luck.  We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Cranberry.   I booked on Tuesday.  Not a dbad drive to the stadium or downtown.
