A few teams do this around game 7 or 8 and I think it presents the opportunity to rest guys and prepare for the final stretch in conference. I can agree with this. Shuffle the schedule around to maybe add some meat to the 1st third of the season.

That's not a good way to build your fan base.

A sold out stadium vs UCF is better than paying a team $450,000 to sell 28.5K tickets (when you remove the 12.5K they add for the student sections)...It's just silly. Sure UCF is crap... blah blah blah. It was a bad move to end the series. I was all for ending it, but that's a regret now.

We arent even on the map right now. And I dont think it would be any better if we would be playing FIU this weekend instead of CSU.WE need to schedule stronger. Oh no!! We're not ranked, and no one knows about us!!In less then a month, we're likely going to be playing a ranked team in Ray Jay on national TV. We win that game, we'll be back on the map. Look at the season openers that were out there. Nobody gets excited about 1aa, let alone(basically) three of them.
Guest hm101
this thread exists. then there is one where people argue for adding memphis and UCF to the big east. does not compute. conference expansion isnt the problem. the problem is a ******** schedule. if i were in charge over there, id be calling arkansas, nebraska, iowa, UNC, georgia tech, wake forest, etc... not WKU, FAMU, FAUthe 5-year miami contract is the smartest move ive seen, and going to FSU and UF arent bad, but then theres the rest of the schedule. balance is good... right now the scale is tipped heavily in favor of cupcakes, and not the hostess kind.
