UConn lost that game because they lost their QB. I believe they do something on offense to get a win if he does not go down. Anyway, Uconn's defense looks pretty strong, but they have a tough task at Baylor with Griffin.

Look, the BIG EAST is supposed to be down this year since we lost all those players to the NFL. The BIG EAST had the most players drafted per team than any conference last season. To me, that speaks volumes about the coaching and talent in this league. The BIG EAST has a lot of young talent this year, so I think the conference will be stronger in one or two more years.

Am I the only one who saw the ACC lose to 2 FCS teams to two weeks ago, and saw two more teams (Including a flagship, trophy school) manage fourth-quarter comebacks and OT wins against 2 more FCS teams last week?

The Big East is above average all the way through, while the ACC has 2 great teams, 6 or 7 mediocre schools, and the rest have more claim to fame as basketball schools than the Big East.

We are off to a bad start this year, thats for sure. Uconn had UNC and just couldnt hold on, and Syracuse has lost two games to big ten schools already.

UConn will be the 4th place team in the BEast.  UNC will be the 2nd team in the ACC.  UConn didn't get blown out, they held their won.

Syracuse...  Yeah, they're atrocious.  There's bottom feeders in every conference.  Every conference has their Cuse.  I doubt ours is even the worst.

So, we're 0-3 so far, but it's pitting our lesser teams against other conferences.  Wait until this weekend (or even 2-3 weeks) to throw out conference statistics.

Where did I say UConn got blown out? I said they had UNC and just couldnt hold on. I think UConn and UNC are pretty comparable as far as conference ranking go. It was a really good game and UConns defense looks very stout. Hopefully we will start winning some head to head matchups with other BCS conferences in the coming weeks.

The worst part is the Big East shouldn't need defending.

I had to defend the BEast this passed weekend against an ACC appologist.
