Hopefully, USF will continue to focus on creating a better campus atmosphere.

The new marshall center is a great start but Tampa isn't exactly a "college town" like Norman.

It was an amazing gameday environment. Everybody was very friendly--but I don't think they saw us as much of a threat to win the game. It was cool when they honored Lee Roy Selmon before the game. The population is almost 2 million and they house more major corporate headquarters than Tampa. How does Columbus not qualify as a "large city"

But Oklahoma is incredibly nice because: They've been there for over 100 years AND Barry Switzer. Tampa, specifically Temple Terrace, is not yet focused around USF. Give it 10-15 years of more grads and jobs staying local.Tampa is also much more of a tourist stop and place for people to retire. Places like Norman and Colombus...definitely not. Guest
Columbus is like Tallahassee or Austin or Sacramento... it existed and grew because of for State Government and the university. It is not a metropolitan area that grew as a city.So yes, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh = Large CitiesColumbus & Austin = Small CitiesPopulation numbers and "corporate headquarters" don't really count.
