Maybe when they accomplish something we'll re-visit it.  According to them, they'll be in a BCS conference very soon.  It could resume then.  Until then, I doubt it.

Keep in mind, most Bulls fans don't want them to lose because they feel a rivlary, it's because of all the disgusting and negative things they have said about USF football since it's inception.  Specifically the people on this board have heard such boasting, cajoling and insulting that they wish for nothing short of complete failure for UCF - they've earned it.

UCF has won a conference championship in football, which is something we have yet to do. Whether it is in Conference USA or whatnot doesn't matter. They also have more players in the NFL which speaks to the level of talent that comes out of the school. By no means am I negating the fact that the fans have big mouths and probably single-handedly ruined the series, but I wouldn't say they haven't accomplished anything.

UCF Accomplishments

Conference USA Champions - 2007

Players in the NFL- 19 (most notable below)

Daunte Culpepper - Quarterback, Detroit Lions

Travis Fisher - Cornerback, Detroit Lions

Brandon Marshall - Wide Receiver, Denver Broncos

Matt Prater - Placekicker, Denver Broncos

Asante Samuel - Cornerback, Philadelphia Eagles

Kevin Smith - Running Back, Detroit Lions

Wofford?

Georgia Southern?

Western Kentucky?

UCF?

Which game would you most like to see? Other than the butt-wipe fans of UCF, that's the game I would want.

We get nothing from beating them, we get nothing from any of the bunch!

The ONLY good reason not to play is being afraid of losing. I know, I've heard, and read, all the excuses.

When watching this, I find it really hard to believe that we almost lost this game.  We were up by 14 with 4 minutes left to play and then fell apart.  Wow man, just wow.

Let me know when we start recruiting against Wofford and the rest...

of the "Davids" on that list, a win over "Goliath" by UCF does the most harm, with very little good in return.

I agree that HARM/FEAR is the only excuse because the other three will in no way be exciting.

Other than the tailgate parties.

You must be mistaking the PapaJohns.com and St Pete Bowl trophies for a conference championship?

I enjoy watching my team play, it doesn't much matter who the opposition is.  I still enjoy it.  A 64-12 romp over UCF is no different than a 64-12 romp over Wofford.  It is what it is.

I don't think anyone fears UCF.  It's just a business decision.  Ain't much good it on for the Bulls.  That's my opinion.  Some see it differently.

Not sure what you're talking about but what I was saying was that which conference the title was in does matter ... Is a Sun Belt conference title an accomplishment in the vein it's being used here? The question was "What have they accomplished that would make a win over them something of an accomplishment for USF?" The answer is "Nothing" ...
