FSU still worries me.  The thumped a decent Wisonsin team.  But as has been said, they've lost some key players.  It wouldn't surprise me to beat them but it don't think it would be easy.

In number of players arrested for felonies, well no... hands down FSU kicks our ass in that category.

On the field, well you should be trampled by a pack of Bulls for that question.  OF COURSE they have a shot.  If it was last season, I'd say we win by 10.  The season before that, USF by 20.  This year, who knows... but I wouldn't be surprised by any outcome.

The 2 teams in that question should be flipped!!! We'll have a senior qb, which means a lot, returning All-American on D, and some special new add-ons we just signed. Granted they pulled in a great class as well, but Ponder is coming off his first year as a starter, they lost their All-American d-lineman, leading rusher, top 2 leading recievers, and top 3 tacklers on D. Major holes to fill for them.

Totally agree with Feld..............Griggsy I'm shocked by your initial statement.  I'm thinking we should be the favorites in this game, but we probably won't, therefore I'm guessing it'll be a Pick'Em basically.

Do we have a shot?  Hell Yes

Should we win?  Hell Yes

Will we win?  Remains to be seen

... Until FSU figures out the qb position anyone has a shot against them.

...

I didn't watch much FSU footall, but seemed they had a pretty good QB back there, was he a Sr ?

No, he's a jr I think. Someone summed it up for me like this:

Christian Ponder is Drew Weatherford, with legs.

The only reason this topic question would get asked is because to some people there is still a mystique associated with Florida State Football.  To those who have followed FSU at all in the past 10-15 years would realize that the program has slowly eroded.  Last years team was probably their strongest in a few years, but FSU is still nowhere near its late 90's form.

Big thing is that it's in the beginning of the season.

That's when Grothe plays his best football. But if they push it back to the 2nd half of the season. The Bulls will lose.

And yet we beat WVU to end the 2007 season . . .

Why is this question even being asked.

OF COURSE we have a shot, a very good one.  That is not even a legitimate question.

USF WILL defeat one of the 2 (UM or FSU) and will be in both games with chances to win them both.  I wouldn't be shocked to see the bulls run UM out of the stadium.

this will be a huge game for us, so that means we'll play up to the OOC opponent, unlike our in-conference games that are more important.

bulls win.
