Not sure if coaches ever take a look at these boards but being a miami dolphins fan what do you think the Bulls offense would look like with our own version of the wildcat with Mike Ford lined up behind center and Grothe lined up at WR???  I mean we do have potential running backs that we always want to see being utilized.  What would our own version be called?  I would say the STAMPEDE!!!  I am such a genius!  Sign me up now as O Coodinator Coach Leavitt!

It wouldn't matter who took the snap...they would end up running a reverse with Grothe.

This topic has been brought up last month.. We don't have a runner who can throw!

You'd need a back that could possibly throw the ball. Although with our OC, I guess we'd never dip into that portion of the formation anyways, so defenses could just put 11 in the box and know the run was coming.

It may have been efective last year when Amarri at least posed a run/throw threat.  Our running backs, even when they are in there this year, have not really been effective enough to pose a running threat let alone  a threat to pass.  I don't see where it would be effective at all.

This would assume that our current offensive coaching staff has the desire to put the ball in the hands of any playmakers we may have and also want to try and trick the other team.  I am not convinced of either.

Another reason our coaching staff failed last year, we used A. Jackson to catch the ball.

Didn't he have an arm?  He could've ran this.

What about Nate Allen?  That  guy was a QB in HS wasn't he?  May be tough to use a safety but I just saw Virginia do it with a CB.  Why not?  I say we do it if we make a bigger bowl than St. Pete.

you dont neccessarily need a rb that can throw the ball for one.

Two, most of those guys can throw a football, they have played football forever and most of them have played qb in pickup games when they were little.

Three, it wouldnt be Mike Ford running the wildcat, it would be Jamar Taylor with his combination of speed and strength.

Four, running the wildcat would mean Gregory actually implemented something and we know that isnt possible.
