Come on, they played good, but they are not a shoe in for the title. There is still a lot of football to be played. If Pitt wins the Big East, the NCAA should pull the auto bid from the Big East.

They outplayed the # 10 team in the country and the "best" team in the Big East.

Hell, if we can talk about us going to the NC, they can def. talk about winning the big east. Especially after last night

Several people picked them to win it this year.  So I'm not surprised they're talking about it.  They lost one game and everyone declared them dead.  Now they beat a ranked team and are 4-1, that's not bad.  (Of course, they almost lost to Cuse--then again...we had trouble with FIU.  This year it's all about winning games, no matter by how much!)

Not that I wouldn't have tried to win if I were in their position, but Pitt has single-handedly ruined the Big East's standing in the college football world. Every team in the Big East should hate their guts right now. They've made a monkey out of this conference by denying West Virginia the national championship game last year and by beating the best (or, most talented) team in the conference this year.
