Green/Gold chant at NC State

It was fun to see it start with our fans at the game Saturday.

I wish we could do this at our home games. I know a lot of you don't like the Jumbotron, but we should use it to our advantage.

Yea i heard the chant start. Maybe it would have carried on longer if it wasn't raining and more USF fans could get into it. I for one was soaked, but stayed through it all (cept HT). Twas a great road trip. We had NCSU fans directly to the right of us, and some were so trashed they got escorted out by cops for immense foul language and reckless behavior.

Can we email athletics director or w/e to get this put back in? USF needs to start a traditional chant and the Green/Gold goes way back. I liked the WOLF - PACK chant, the students had at the game on Saturday.

The GREEN-GOLD chant goes back to the glory days of basketball.  Not sure why the AD refuses to put it on the Jumbotron, they put the U-S-F, chant and the GET LOUD or MAKE SOME NOISE request on the jumbotron, but why not the GREEN-GOLD?  The U-S-F chant is too hard to coordinate stadium wide with the accoustics, the whole stadium can't chant it in unison.  The GREEN-GOLD chant can easily be done in unison.

I think during the Kansas game we came very close to chanting U-S-F in unison. I couldn't believe it. It sounded great.

During the Bucs game on Sat the TAMPA....... BAY........ TAMPA......... BAY chant sounded awesome (obviously with assitance from the jumbotron)!  I sure wish we could get them to do that for the games!!!

That's true.  I think if it were just to get started it would spread really quickly.  The problem is starting it...
