Well he isn't the only committed quarterback still on the board, as coach Dwayne Dixon and the rest of the Florida Gators' coaching staff are still in pursuit of three-star athlete Carlton Hill.I hope our CJL knows this, we don't want another Ingram situation. I know Ingram never committed, but it is similar and much earlier.
Guest HowieP1
Last week Insiders knocked off one his stars and lowered him from #9 QB to #21. Today they no longer list him as a USF commit, but we are still his favorite school at the moment:Schools of Interest: School Interest Level Offer? Attended Camp? Visit Date Signed LOI? The rating systems are so full of this same type of discrimination towards schools like USF. I don't think they understand how this lessens the importance of their own ratings when they obviously try to mold their ratings to make the traditional powers appear to be out recruiting the other teams. That has been my pet peeve about Rivals from the get go-- they just don't give USF any credit and lower the ratings of players committing to us as soon as they see we have locked in on someone. IF-- god forbid-- the Gators sway Carlton Hill over to their camp, you watch the reaction on Rivals-- Hill will be back to his previous rating (if not higher). PS-- It is Courtney Denson, not Henson. Now listen, here's the catch, Hill could be one of the best athletes in the entire nation. He's 6-3 210lbs, runs the 200m in under 22.00, and the 100m in under 10.9...he has an amazing physique, and is a glidder the way he runs. However, Hill's still a bit raw at QB. His potential is endless with a rocket arm, and great legs, but he's a bit raw. If you were rating him right against America I would say Carlton Hill is undoubtedly a 4 star athlete, but probably a 2 star QB recruit.Watch out for Grothe he's amazing.
