A win's a win. The pollsters will punish USF for winning by only 8 against one of the bottom programs in the Sun Belt. But so what? All we have to do is win the conference. We do that, and style points don't matter.

Actually I think when we barely beat FIU at home a few years ago was worse.  That game we actually got outplayed and it was some lucky breaks (late fumble as I recall) that let us win.  This game the D played lights out (until the very end, UCF flashback) and the offense just never really showed up.  Still, it wasn't like I ever felt like we could loose the game.

And a missed Xtra pt by FIU to help preserve the 21-20 win

Nope. This was worse. Two years ago, USF wasn't as good and FIU wasn't as bad.

Didn't FIU finish 0-11 that year?

We won, obviously we will drop but regardless we won. I could care less about ranking at this point and more about getting everybody on the right page to win the big east. We clearly dropped the ball tonight literally! We need a good week of practice because we are facing a pumped up nc state with a fast qb and a bruising rb. Let's get focused.

Eh, it seems to be our m.o. Put it on cruise control offensively against lesser opponents and let the defense carry us through. Its not how I'd like to win but we still get out of them with a W. I would much rather Spurrier teams and put up 60 THEN put it on cruise control but whatever... doesn't look like thats going to happen with Gregory playcalling.
