2 games (against inferior opponents) and Selvie has no sacks.  6 solo tackles, 2 assists.

I know he didn't play a lot against Tenn-Martin...  And, he seems to be double teamed on every play.  We need to get some blitzes going to take advantage of Selvie getting so much attention from the O-line.

Why put them on tape for Kansas to see when they aren't needed for the inferior opponents.

this is more on the other 3 D Lineman than it is on Selvie. He was double teamed on EVERY snap against UCF and this will continue throughout the season. Someone needs to step up. Selvie should be making his fellow linemen look a lot better than they actually are.

Watch the replay of the ucf game.  No lack of effort from George.  Others have to step up.

I completely agree with you guys.  Selvie is fighting is rear off trying to get in there.  Other lineman need to take advantage of the fact that Selvie is getting all of the attention.

Selvie has already gained the attention from NFL scouts. It doesn't matter how many sacks he gets this year. When they look and see he is being double/triple teamed and he still makes the tackle, he will go first round.

Expect the blitzes to raise dramatically for the KU game.

I wouldn't go that far he still needs to get a decent amount of sacks & TFLs  since a double at the college level is comparable to going against a top flight NFL tackle.  Tackles at the next level are much bigger and stronger and are worlds more technically sound than kids at the college level.  He still needs to be very productive but he won't be looked down on if there is a drop in his production.

Selvie will not play DE in the NFL. Most likely he will be a 4th LB

Kansas will see stunts and blitzes ... we've played tough straight up D and still lead the nation in yards allowed.

Go BULLS !!!

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
