He is athletic enough and it will depend on the team drafting him and the pieces around him. Greg Ellis of the Cowboys came into the league as a DE, and when Dallas switched to a 3-4 he became an OLB. He was whining for the last couple years because he wasn't immediately accepting of the role change, and then the drafting of Anthony Spencer to eventually take his spot, but he's been a fixture in Dallas throughout his career.
