Is Leavitt the one to win us a National Championship?

Hard to complain about gregory when he's putting up over 500 yards total offense in both games this season after breaking all major offensive records last season against a top ten schedule.

Special teams is still an issue (this is unacceptable for a florida school with top athletes).

There are plenty of top coaches who haven't won a NC in the same period of time as CJL.  When was spurrier's last NC?  Did we even have a team back then?? 

CJL has been a BCS coach for THREE YEARS people.  May take more than that to win a NC if history has taught us anything.  There's no reason to believe that CJL can't take this team to a BE or a BCS title.

I would love to see Leavitt bring us the NC, but I just don't see it happening.

I would say "YES" 

He built this program from the ground up, and lets say that we never win a national title during JL's reign as the big cheese - so what... he built our program into a top 25 team and in my book as long as the following items are achieved during his time then I'm happy...

1.) Win the majority of our bowls.

2.) Make a BCS Bowl and win.

3.) USF Stadium.

4.) Consistently makes the top 25

5.) Dominates the Big East.

The offense has been great last year and is moving the ball this year so no complaints there.

JL can win a NC but it may never happen.

I am enjoying the present - what a run we have had over the last 12 years.

I think we still have our next goal in front of us and that is to win the BE.
