i'm goin out on a limp and sayin there will be 39,000 at the game.  I think this game will draw a big crowd off of a huge road win and the offense stepping it up.  Let's make it 40,000+ and kick some golden eagle a$$.

There might be some other things that may help attendance.  It doesn't look right now anyway, that there are any hurricanes knocking on the door.  There were a lot of people who didn't make the TT game because of that, and since the Pitt game got canceled, I think there might be some Bull fans who have yet to be to a home game this season.  There probably going a little stir crazy and jonesing for a game, given the big win, Everybody hates Sourthern Miss with an absolute passion, hopefully good weather and I think we'll draw a little more than usual.

there should also be a fair amount of S Miss fans, which always makes it more fun.

NOPE. We will see 40K. Plus we are having it broadcast on TV 28 again! This will add to the viewing and our popularity.

Does anyone have records about how televising home games affects attendance??  It would be interesting to see if there has been any effect in recent years.

It would be hard to ascertain, because there are so many other factors involved: Quality of opponent; presence of big instate games; other local events like the Lightning; weather; and so on.

No Lightning to worry about this year.  Plus, the Bucs suck this year.  Both of those should help attendance.
