I'm kind of concerned about Gipson going into the game on D without the coaches knowing??!!  What the heck is that all about?  Do these coaches have any control over this team or are the players running it?

Can someone local please call the CJL show this week and ask what in the world this crap was all about!

I don't really like this tradition 'cuz its a copy of FSU's

I really don't like it for the same reason. We need to get our own shtick.

I love the tradition.  You have to start somewhere, and bringing home a piece of the opponents field and placing it in a "cemetary" builds moral and confidence.  Kind of reminds me the Tombstones of beaten teams Death Row would place in the front row of basketball games.   The team needs to do something similar, put the team name and date on a small sign so that the win can be remembered forever.

Beside, their field was in awful condition, even before the game.  They need to resod more then just what we took.  I have never seen so many divots before a game.

All of those fans are crying, because we took their field with us. Let a team try that a Ray Jay. Oh wait, they'll have to win their first.  ;D

You got that right. The field looked like hell before the game. Then about 10 minutes after the game, they brought out the mowers and started running them along the field. The field looked a lot better where they mowed it. Makes me think TCU left the grass long and chewed up because they know they can't defend the pass and it would slow the WRs down.

In which case, Sarosi and everyone else was just helping the grounds crew out by taking pieces of sod with them before they could be mowed.  8)

I'm in the camp that says can this new "tradition" since it is just a copy of some others, especially FSU.

Instead just snap a photo of the guys all at the 50 yard line pointing to the scoreboard, or something like that.

Hey, just the taking of the sod is like wizzing on the emblem at the 50. I say, go for it.    The Reaper

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

Act like you’ve been there before. Turns out, for many of us, we haven’t been there before.
