If he can have a 5:1 TD to INT ratio, then we will be pretty much guaranteed to win the BE and a BCS game.

WTF! If he has atleast a 2:1 or 3:1 we are golden, 5:1 is Tom Brady stats lol.

"In losses, he threw four touchdowns and 15 interceptions."  Yet people still want to believe he is not the reason we lost those games.

The INT's were not all Grothe's fault... a hodge-podge OL that let's pass rushers through like water can force any QB to hurry throws or make poor decisions.

Sure, MG 's decision making is part of the reason USF lost those games, but just one part.  Remember, he is a student and still learning... not a professional with years of experience and training.

I think most of us recognize his play was a big reason we lost those three games, but we also realize without him we probably loose 4 more.  Brett Favre always throws a lot of interceptions, but he makes some amazing plays.

The last 2 posts are the answers ... Grothe was the Offense in 2006, got more help in 2007. Expect a better overall team and a smarter Grothe.

Also not noted, as Jim stated ... those 3 loses during the regular season had some OL & WR injuries. Our O-line was shuffled around alot last year.

We(the team) was the reason we lost games, too many factors.

Go BULLS !!!

Gotta agree with this.  Grothe is getting better.  Can't wait for '08!

Agreed. If Grothe can throw 17 TD's, Rush for another 10-12, and limit the total turnovers to 12 this team wont lose.
