I may be late to the party, but I saw it with my daughter this weekend. 

Wow.

I had read about Ledger's performance, but to watch it was something else.  He turned the Joker into somethone incredibly disturbing.  A chaotic Hannibal Lector. 

And the new Batmobile was cool.

Ledger was great but everyone else left something to be desired.  Good entertaining flick though.

i thought the first batman was better (well this round of batman....batman begins)  as far as a story and christian bale's charcter.

however, ledger was so amazing in the dark knight that it made up for it. 

but if you took him out of that movie...it would of been a flop in my opinion.

I liked this one a lot.  It would be easy to say I liked it better than the first one, but that would only be because it's newer and fresher in my mind.  When I really think about it though I liked them the same.  That's a compliment because I thought they were both awesome. 

I went and saw TDK the weekend it came out and then again at the IMAX last week.  IMAX makes everything better.
