Some of their programs at the Master's level are good.  I got an M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from UCF after my B.A. in Psych from USF and their Master's program was head and shoulders above any of the I/O Master's interns we got from other Universities in Florida, Germany, Dominica, and elsewhere.  In fact, the Master's program was so tough, that when they started a PhD program, they chose to remove the comps and make the thesis optional in order to make it less challenging than the PhD.

Don't let your dislike of the university cut you out of a good program.  Remember, only fools pick a college for the name; research the program.  Of course they are recruiting USF grads -- we are great students, intelligent, great looking, etc.!

Don't let your spite of UCF sports cloud your mind to think it's a second rate academic institution.

It's only a third rate athletic school.
