guys that is what happens when you end year on strong note as opposed to getting the biggest beatdown in the bowl season

Pitt didn't even go to a bowl game. So who knows what would of happened if they did.

i guess it's good for them that they didn't considering the momentum they are projected to have.

Wannstedt is one of the worst game coaches in college football. He was almost certainly going to get fired until WVU self-destructed. And now they're supposed to win the conference? I doubt he'll suddenly get a lot smarter.

I am so sick of hearing about how good Pitt will be this year!!! Didnt the scouts say the same thing about them last year? Look at how well they turned out. Wow, upset win over WVU..thats the only thing they did that was solid last year. These analysts need to get a clue.

They said that in 2006 as well, after a great recruiting class.

Good recruits do NOT equal good results.

I think you meant to say that "Good recruits do not AUTOMATICALLY equal good results."

Pitt would win the Big East every year if they had a head coach.

They would even be a national championship team if they had someone who knew what they were doing.

As you can tell, they have the athletes, they had very good running backs last year.

It's just a matter of getting a real head coach.

I think the stache is horrid, but they were starting mostl freshmen and sophomores last year. they should be very solid this year with more expirience
