Are there any other teams you would accept such a deal from? The post is not to revisit if such deals are appropriate as a bcs school. I believe we are COMPLETELY booked for BCS games through 2013. If the Miami series is continued beyond that date, then we will be booked through 2016. By that time, USF might be as big a name in football as just anybody else. Antagonist Posted February 12, 2008 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 5,245 Reputation: 334 Days Won: 2 Joined: 10/09/2007 Share Posted February 12, 2008 my preferred list:FSU - was always somewhat partial to the 'Noles as a kid (before USF fielded a team), and would like to have bragging rights by completing the "Big 3" trifecta in Doak-Campbell.Texas - Battle of the Bovines. good storyline. duke it out for ownership of the "horn" hands. last season i think we would have beaten them in our house, and had a 50/50 shot to beat them in Austin.USC - tradition. they are the big boys. taking a game against them would get us on national tv. plus we don't play enough PAC-10 teams, and i wouldn't mind erasing the bad taste from our Oregon thrashing.Hawaii - they would have to come here, since we are obviously their superiors. i really just want to see those Samoan guys with their tribal drums, and whatever hot polynesian women might travel. mmm.Any top-tier SEC team - i hate the SEC with a passion. i want that conference to dwell at the bottom of CFB obscurity for eternity. their conference and schools are all vastly overrated to the point that dropping them 3-5 spots from their place on any Top 25 poll is the only way to figure out where they should REALLY be rated. thrashing any SEC team-- Georgia, LSU, Tenn-- in their house would be fantastic. No way to Texas scheduled a 2 home and 1 at UCF series. Notre Dame is a different animal because of their tradition, but with the exception of MAYBE USC, I wouldn't even consider it.
