It's either Pitt or PSU for those guys. Those are the home state schools. In Florida, we have to compete with 3 other in-state powerhouses and every other school that comes here to recruit.

Really.  I proudly wear my "green and gold goggles", but how different would our name look on that list - in the eyes of others? 

It takes a lot to be a household name, most all of those teams on there are.  We will get there I believe, but the path is not as easy as some would like to make it out to be.

Lets learn from this, I think Smazza has a point.  What are they doing, that we are not?  What do we need to have at USF to put us in the top ranks of recruiting.  My recommendation is that the USF Marketing students both MBA and undergrad do a market research by interviewing players who did not choose USF and find out why.  This report could be produced for the Athletic department. 

Are we missing, support services, are we in the wrong conference?  What small things can we do to fix the problem.  Since the superbowl is coming to Tampa maybe the NFL will pony up a half artificial turn practice field or some other type facility.

That would actually be a great idea. It would be interesting to see the reasons. Cant hurt
