I fell out of my chair with laughter when I saw the one poster that had the checklist for FAU with "join the Big East conference".

UCF vs. FAU would have been a good game.

They both won their non BCS conference.

They both beat a weak BCS team.

They both lost to USF.

FAU has come a long way in a short period of time.

UCF vs. FAU would have been a good game.

They both won their non BCS conference.

They both beat a weak BCS team.

They both lost to USF.

FAU has come a long way in a short period of time. 

I would have vote ucf if they played each other this year. Simply because FAU couldnt stop Benji and Grothe running, and since all UCF did was run the ball with Kevin smith....

FAU in the Sunbelt isn't the reason I don't respect FAU...I actually respect their team and their desire to improve (unlike FIU).  But the 20 or so fans that post on that board are their whole fanbase.  Their fans and the area's fans suck and even UM has trouble drawing.  So it's hard to really respect their fanbase and fans...because most FAU grad could care less.

At least we (USF and UCF) are more passionate.  FAU has a good program building and if the had a passionate fanbase to back up these post...I'd have no problem developing a rivalry with them.  IMO...all FL teams are rivalries....some are just more historical than others....to date.  Never know what the future will hold.....we all know that UCF is still a better school than USF and definitely better looking!!  ;D

Overall...I think it's great to see FAU fans get excited about their team and future.  It's great for Florida!!  But there's obviously only like 20 or so.  So I guess it's a Moo point.

True, but what about next year without Fool's Gold?  Yeah, I think FAU would edge it out...

Be careful judging fan bases.  Last I checked, UCF didn't sell out a championship game on campus.
