Moffitt to announce new UF ties

Moffitt Cancer Center will announce a new partnership with University of Florida at a press conference in Gainesville this afternoon.

Moffitt, based in Tampa, is the only Florida cancer center which is a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. The hospital and research institute will discuss plans to work with the UF College of Medicine and Shands HealthCare in ways which Moffitt predicts will have "a substantial impact on cancer care and research in Florida."

Great News is finding a frigging cure to cancer.

This sounds like a great partnership between both schools

I would not care if (name any evil person in history) got the credit for curing cancer.

This penis envy on what UF is or is not doing outside of sports is really stupid, and does not help out the human condition on the planet

heaven forbid we do everything possible to find a cure for cancer...

at least I have a real reason to hate UF... UT actually plays them regularly... but I still think this is great
