You're right.  I had forgotten about the party O'Leary threw with a bunch of cocaine and prostitutes and all the pictures he took to blackmail good athletes to join his program.

Actually a very funny post, dozer.  Don't get on the defensive because of internal standards, I am sure he will be another Selvie whom I really enjoy watching.  A steal that UF overlooked.*

Look it's a different philosophy and to be honest:

I dont always like it, but we honestly take academic standards seriously pure and simple.  It's a matter of what we do and what we expect.  Like going to grocery and demanding Peter Pan over Publix Peanut butter even if we may think the later tastes better. Weird, but that's the way the cards fall from Hitt, O'Leary and Tribble. 

Ps: Can't wait for UM here next year, what a great rivalry game. :thumbsdown

James Poe - signed LOI and did not make it on campus

Not to mention UCF's top recruit, Josh Robinson, had these impressive(  ::) )academic stats:

Robinson says he wants to major in criminal justice and reports a 2.4 core GPA and an 810 SAT and 18 ACT.

I didn't know those were qualifying scores allowed by the NCAA.  ???
