Official WVU/Fiesta Bowl Thread

It's now 20-6, which is deceptive.  The way they're playing it should be 40-6.  WVU is doing a good job picking the Big East up for us!!

1. make the OC the head coach at $1M, (use the rest of RR salary to keep other coaches)

2.promote the DC to assistant HC increase salary 25-50%,

3.promote ALL coaches and increase salary by 25-50%

4. put $4m in a savings account

this would accomplish 3 important things:

A. maintain the system and hopefully the success (except vs USF)

B. stick it to Rich Rod either deny him his coaches or make it very expensive for him to get them.

C. If that does not work in 2 years you can go out and hire a great coach (you keep looking for 2 years)

WVU coaching staff deserves that chance by they way they got this team ready to play tonight.

Shows what emotion and a great desire to win brings out in a team.  They said how this is the most important game of their career.  The Big East needs them to win this.  Kudos WVU!

So I guess having under sized linemen work just fine when you actually establish and have a running threat. The annoucers just keep talking about how much bigger OU's line is, but the speed on WVU's running game is killing them.

Any of you guys that were arguing that we couldn't have run against Oregon's line because they were too big watching this game?

WV had the money to do the things to keep Rodriguez.  They didn't do it, for whatever reason.  They haven't gotten the money back from Rodriguez, and may be losing booster support.

Finally, it's only the first half of the game.  You may want to see the second half before doling out $2-3mil for this staff.

We have all seen how far one half of football gets us. If WVU comes out as sharp, or dull, as we did it will look similar to the OU game.
