The Outback would not drop their 3rd pick in the Big 10, so worries of ACC fans filling RJS are moot.

It will be like Jacksonville lots of open seats, cheap tix, and talks of permanently moving to Charlottw when all is said and done.

It was only an example but no one knows what will happen when the bowls get restructured. In order for the Bulls to be in the best possible possition for that restructuring I would like for every other conference to be in the worst possible possition. Part of that involves not improving the perception that they are a draw or that their fans travel well. I think we all can agree the Big East could use some better bowl games, well guess what they have to come from somewhere and that includes the ACC (also we need for them to not be an attractive option to any other bowl in flux).

Personally I'm glad the championship is coming here.  I don't see how it does anything but generate more interest in college football which just helps us, and I'll almost certainly go to it if I can.

On the other hand, if my school was in the ACC I'd be pissed.  Still, having grown up in the ACC stronghold of North Carolina I can say that regardless of the entry of Miami and FSU most ACC fans are primarily basketball fans, so it may not be as big a deal as it seems.  In fact, I would bet that ACC football fans are far more likely to be FSU and Miami folks, so Tampa as a location may be a pretty logical choice.

I wont be there. I am pretty sure that there will be more important games that day, so I wont be making it.
