Why I hope for the Sun Bowl

If the bowls have their choice in who to pick, I would think that this year, USF would be a more glamorous pick than cincy or rutgers.. so, hopefully we'll get a better bowl just on the fact that we made it to #2 and got a lot of talk about us

I just read on Greg's blog that either Sun or Meineke was likely if we win at Pitt.  He said the Pizza Bowl and International bowl were unlikely.  I was encouraged.

Sun or Meineke, either would be good!  A bowl vs. CUSA or a MAC team will be disappointning, especially this year.

A big win against a good BCS team will also position us to be ranked in next years pre-season poll.

You are correct.  This would be a good one to go to just for the west coast matchup.

IF the sun bowl was against USC or Oregon (Battle of the spread and former #2s!) Id be all for it.

But Car Care is a lot closer, so Im rooting car care against FSU
